Families are Forced to Make Tough Choices Every Day

Even before COVID-19, “Poverty Speaks” survey conducted in 2018. Survey was targeted to people with household incomes below $25,000 in Cuyahoga County.

45% of families with children said they had to choose between paying for food and another necessity.

24% of families with children had to make a choice between medical care and another necessity.
