The Workplace Wage Gap: Cuyahoga County

There is both a gender and a race wage gap in Cuyahoga County for full-time, full year workers. For each racial or ethnic category, women earn less on average than their male counterparts. On average, Latina women who work full-time for the full-year earned about half what non-Hispanic white mean earned.  Living wage is $56,000, meaning that on average only households headed by white men could support a family with one wage-earner.
