United Way of Greater Cleveland
mobilizes and empowers Greater Cleveland residents to help break the cycle of poverty.
211 STATEWIDE EXPANSION
A new partnership between the Ohio Department of Children and Youth and Ohio 211 will expand 211 access to all 88 Ohio counties by June 2026.
This growth will allow all Ohioans to connect to local resources through the 211 helpline, including food, housing, health care, and more.
YOUR GIFT KEEPS 211 ANSWERING THE CALL
United Way 211 is a free and confidential helpline connecting Greater Clevelanders to food, housing, healthcare, and other essential services.
Help keep this lifeline open every hour, every day.
2026 DAY OF ACTION
On National 211 Day, nearly 300 volunteers came together to build and stock 30 Blessing Boxes for every Cleveland Public Library branch.
These boxes provide free essentials for neighbors across our community.
